*The CSS Phantom is a Civil War Blockade Runner that ran aground on Lea Island, near Topsail Inlet, Pender County, North Carolina. Portions of wreck and cargo (coal) have periodically been exposed by storm and tidal action. This inlay is from a small piece of wood (and coal) that broke away from one of the ship's hull spars in the summer of 2020.
