This knife is a lightweight and balanced version of the classic Bird & Trout design. Its light weight and durability is enhanced by the use of RichLite handle material. It sports a 4.5” full flat ground blade and a chonky (less than usual material removed) handle. The handle neck is angled to match the plunge angle. Other notable features include: spine jimping, a two finger recess at the heel of the blade and a thong hole at the apex of the butt. The somewhat longer handle allows a user to easily choke up for stability or choke down for a more flexible range of motion. This is a good knife for dressing small game, food prep and other general tasks.
