This knife is an updated version of my classic Bird & Trout design. It sports a 4” full flat ground blade. A perfect set of ironwood scales was paired with a dense and solid set of giraffe bone chunks. The bone was backfilled with a bit of epoxy to give it a little more substance. I wouldn’t use ironwood (it is very hard, expensive and difficult to shape) but it is just so good looking when it is all done. I gave the handle a good carnuba wax finish. It really brought out the ironwood grain. This is a good knife for dressing small game, food prep and other general tasks.
